It’s tough to get Amani to sit still and work on a single task, and that’s especially true when it comes to asking him to practice his letters. He prefers to just draw squiggles or wavy lines.

But last night and this morning, he showed some progress with the letter “E.” See?

A breakfast I’ve probably had thousands of times in my life (though not so much in recent years): cranberry juice and waffles with molasses.

Was back at Link Coworking today for some afternoon meetings, and made sure to get a shot inside their UK-style red phone booth! 

I visited the brand-spanking new Link Coworking space in Central Austin this morning. 

The meeting rooms feature cool dry-erase tables for brainstorming and jotting down notes. Or, in this case, for reading inspirational quotes before chowing down on a breakfast taco. 

Sporting a goofy grin on my 34th birthday. Stella and I had just come out of the Lake Creek Alamo Drafthouse, which we visited for the first time to take in The Social Network.

The Drafthouse features waiter inside the theatre, so we were able to enjoy a sandwich and drinks during the movie!
